A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

I don’t know why I’m doing this. But I know…
…I have to find out the truth. I need to know why he died.
That’s the reason investigators exist… the reason I became one…
I have to keep going… and pursue the truth like I always did…!

April 22, 2123.
There's just one thing separating Riley Kline from becoming an interplanetary investigator: a 12-hour trip on a space ship followed by an exam. However, just as she gets on the Yasai Space Shuttle, a passenger is murdered in a locked room. One of the few passengers with an alibi, Riley has to investigate the murder, while being haunted by memories of her past...

Inspired by mystery visual novel classics such as Ace Attorney and Danganronpa, a point-and-click crime scene investigation is followed by arguing the facts of the case with fellow investigators and witnesses in order to figure out the truth. While another person is making their argument, you will interrupt them to ask or answer questions or present evidence, possibly even changing their train of thought completely.

I made Riley Kline: Circle of Suspects back in 2016. Now, eight years later, I'm working on a remake with improved graphics, writing, gameplay and sound effects. You can download and play the first third of the 2016 version if you'd like, but keep in mind this does not reflect the quality of the final product.

Stay tuned for progress updates in the devlog.

I'm really happy to see this. Rooting for you, best of luck!

I reached a point where I find it’s Graham and then I am stuck to defend him(??) I’m not sure how to progress beyond that.

Although a lot of evidence points towards Graham, there's a major problem with him being the killer. Sure, he could've locked the door, but what about the actual shooting?

If that doesn't help, can you give me one of the statements from the current argument, so I know exactly where you're stuck?

Right after this. Also yes, I am playing the older version, I quite like it.

Oh, I see. You're not as far into the case as I thought then - sorry if that caused any confusion.

So now you're trying to see if it's possible that the victim locked the door himself. Turns out it's not. Go through each of the options Torin suggests for when he did so and show evidence to prove it's impossible.

I tried that first…all of them showed it was impossible and when I took the killer route and found evidence, it was on Graham.

That's strange. You're only supposed to get the "blind trust" line if you've completed the killer route and not the victim route. Are you sure you've proved everything in the victim route (before he was shot, when he was shot, after he was shot) impossible on the same savefile?

You know that you've completed the victim route if you get this dialogue:

Riley:
"He couldn’t have locked the door before he was shot…"
"… after he was shot… … right when he was shot…"
"… He couldn’t have locked the door at all!"
Torin:
"That’s right. It’s impossible for the victim to have locked the door."
